Born in San Jose Costa Rica, Debi is a songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist who first learned piano at the age of four. Invited to tour with Sergio Mendes, she has appeared on tour and recordings with the likes of Maxwell, Norman Brown, the Black Eyed Peas, Sean Paul, Louie Vega, Boney James, Ricky Martin and Britney Spears. Her first single, “One Rhythm,” went to the top of the Billboard Dance Music/Club Play chart and her debut album Luna Nueva will be released this year. Debi currently has six Latin Grammy nominations to her credit and supports Rain Tees work of preserving and reforesting her homeland in Costa Rica.
