Beth grew up on a small farm in Whitehouse, Ohio and at age 22 created Andira International (www.andiraintl.com) as a fashion import and distribution company, launching exclusive European brands across the U.S. market. Wanting to make fashion more sustainable, in 2007 she created her own collection, Rain Tees.
Rain Tees launched at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, is sold internationally and has been featured in prominent media including People, InStyle, Glamour, Seventeen, and Women's Wear Daily. In December 2010 Beth was featured as a "Hero" in Hemispheres Magazine for her environmental achievements through the brand, which include donating more than $20,000 in school supplies across eleven countries in its first year and planting more than 12,000 trees and in 2011 she was photographed alongside Steven Spielberg, Michelle Obama, and John Travolta for the book “100 Making a Difference” by celebrity photographer John Russo.
Beth's own book, ''From the Jungle'', about environmental awareness is illustrated by acclaimed artist and award winning designer, Mel Lim and won an American Graphic Design Award (GDUSA) in 2010. It's set to launch internationally in 2011.
Beth turned her original company Andira International, into a full service consulting and design agency in 2009 and has worked with global brands and corporations such as The World Wildlife Foundation, Aveda, Kayu and Kiehls, who asked her to blog for their dedicated global following on one of her journeys to the Amazon in 2010 for the launch of their naturally based skin-care product, Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
